Project Details

This project includes replacement and repair of wastewater pipes in five locations around the city and the connection of the Milwaukie Station Food Cart Pods to the city wastewater system.

Washington Street Project Pop-Up Event

Highway 224 Traffic Signal Upgrades

ODOT will install modem traffic signal controllers, additional vehicle radar detection equipment and traffic monitoring cameras along Oregon 224 (Milwaukie Expressway) from SE 17th Avenue to I-205 and on Oregon 212 (Clackamas Highway) from Oregon 213 (SE 82nd Drive) to Rock Creek Junction (OR 224).

Harvey Street Improvements

Project Details

This project will improve Harvey Street from 32nd Avenue to 40th Avenue into a higher rank of neighborhood greenway as described in the city's Transportation System Plan and construct ADA compliant sidewalk along Harvey Street and 42nd Avenue from 32nd Avenue to 42nd Avenue to Howe Street. Crews will also update the water and storm systems to meet current standards along Harvey Street, 33rd Avenue, 36th Avenue, Sherry Lane, 42nd Avenue and Wake Court. There will also be a sanitary line repair along 40th Avenue.

Washington Street Area Improvements

Project Details

The city has begun construction to replace underground pipes, add or improve sidewalks and repave Washington Street. The project combines six smaller improvement projects into one large project to save money, improve efficiency and reduce the number of times the street is dug up.

Celebration on the Paths • Linwood Avenue

The Linwood Avenue multi-use paths are now open! Let's celebrate their completion and enjoy using them! 

"Celebration on the Paths" Event - Saturday, Nov. 20, drop in anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Where? On the paths! At four tent stations along the half-mile stretch between Montgomery Drive and Aspen Street (concentrated near Linwood Elementary) 

Event includes treats, fall-themed stickers, a scavenger hunt, chalk art and bike decorating!
