City Council adopted the Tacoma Station Area Plan (TSAP) and related amendments on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Update 6/14/13: The City Council will have a 2nd hearing on the Tacoma Station Area Plan on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. The staff report is available here. Council heard public testimony on the TSAP on June 4th; the materials and video from that meeting are available here.
Staff anticipates that Council will make a decision on the TSAP and related amendments at the June 18th meeting. The record will be open for this meeting, which means that interested parties can give written or oral testimony.
Update 5/30/13: The Planning Commission voted unanimously at the May 28, 2013 meeting to recommend that City Council adopt the Tacoma Station Area Plan (TSAP). City Council will hold a hearing on the TSAP on June 4, 2013 (materials available in the link to the June 14, 2013 meeting). Anyone wishing to comment on the TSAP may submit written testimony to project staff prior to the hearing or speak at the hearing. Staff anticipates that the June 4th hearing will be continued, and that Council may vote on adoption of the TSAP at their meeting on June 18, 2013.
The Portland to Milwaukie Light Rail line and will include a station near the SE McLoughlin Blvd/Tacoma Street interchange. The Tacoma Station Area Plan is being developed by the City of Milwaukie in coordination with others to examine opportunities for redevelopment and investment in the vicinity of the new light rail station.

Stakeholders Advisory Group (SAG)
The Stakeholders Advisory Group consists of property owners, area businesses, neighborhood association representatives and others with an interest in planning for Milwaukie's North Industrial Area. The group reviews draft plans in three meetings during 2012, and provides input and advice to ensure final plans address community concerns.
