Presidents Day: City Offices & Library Closed

In observance of Presidents Day, City Hall (10722 SE Main St.), the Johnson Creek Building (6101 SE Johnson Creek Blvd.), and Ledding Library (10660 SE 21st Ave.) are closed.

The proposal is requesting an extension of the 2019 Final Plat approval deadline for a 2-lot partition (master file #FP-2019-004). Delays in construction due to contractors not able to perform the work due to the COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult to ensure that construction can be completed, inspected, and approved prior to the original approval’s expiration on September 9, 2020. Applicant requests a 12-month extension to the approval of the Final Plat.

Funding Available for Second Round of Business Relief Grants

On Monday, July 20 the City of Milwaukie will open a second round of small business grants for the local business community. The city received $35,000 from the Business Oregon COVID-19 Emergency Business Assistance Matching Fund, as well as $1,000 donated by NW Natural, for a total of $36,000 available in grant funding. The application period is open until Friday, July 24 at 5 p.m.
