Milwaukie, OR - On 7/3/25 at approximately 12:55 AM, Milwaukie Police were called to the 3100 block of SE Lake Rd. on report of 4-5 ”loud booms” believed to sound like gunshots.  Officers arrived in the area shortly after and located several firearm ammunition casings in the street. No victims or damaged property was located at the time of the event.

Starting with the July 31st statement, your utility bill will feature a new, simplified look.

The statement will continue to provide all the important details regarding your account.

The city is also enhancing its online services by offering the convenience of viewing and paying your utility bill all in one place through the Municipal Online Payment website—eliminating the need to visit two separate websites, as was previously required.

Proposal: The property, which is approximately 0.15 ac, is currently developed with a detached garage. The applicant is proposing to demolish the garage and construct a new 1,805 sq ft single story house on the property. As proposed, the house would protrude approximately 2 feet 2 inches into a no-build zone, which was created (as a condition of approval) through a previously approved land use decision, file #MLP-07-01.

Milwaukie, OR  - On May 30^th, the Clackamas County Human Trafficking Multi-disciplinary Team conducted a sex buyers and sellers sting as a part of the Our Rescue’s “Coast to Coast Operation.” This event is a simultaneous operation in various states and locations around the country, where associated agencies/advocates share intelligence, identify trafficking victims offering them supports/services and arrest traffickers.  The event was hosted by the Milwaukie Police Department with assistance from the West Linn and Wilsonville Police Departments

Milwaukie OR – On 6/3/25 at approximately 8:00 pm , Milwaukie Police were called to the 11300 Block of SE 37^th Ave. (Minthorne Natural Area) on report of a suspicious circumstance. Upon arriving, Officers saw what appeared to be a person partially submerged in the water inside of a wooded area. Officers learned the individual was a recently deceased white female between the ages of 25-35.
