The applicant applied for approval to adjust the boundary lines of five historic subdivision lots through a replat. The proposal would reconfigure the historic property lines to accommodate a five-unit townhouse development. The applicant is also requesting a Type II variance to reduce the street-side setback (52nd Ave) on proposed Lot 1 from the required 15 ft to 11.25 ft and to increase the maximum lot coverage for proposed Lot 2 from the maximum allowed 45% to 49.5%.

Future City Hall Building Receives New Signs

Exciting things are happening as the city repurposes the former Advantis Credit Union building into Milwaukie’s new
city hall building. At the end of February into the beginning of March, the new exterior signage was installed on the east and west sides of the building. The sign reads “Milwaukie City Hall” in white with a backlight to illuminate the sign at night.

In observance of Presidents Day, City Hall (10722 SE Main St.), the Johnson Creek Building (6101 SE Johnson Creek Blvd.), and Ledding Library (10660 SE 21st Ave.) are closed.
