Fireworks Prohibited in Milwaukie

In February 2023, City Council passed ordinance 2225, which prohibits the sale, possession and use of fireworks in Milwaukie city limits. The maximum possible fine for a fireworks violation is $1,000.

Emma Sagor Hired as Assistant City Manager

After a competitive selection process, the City of Milwaukie selected Emma Sagor as the new assistant city manager.
