Foam Collection Site - Closed Until Further Notice

ATTENTION: The collection site is closed until further notice. 

Volunteer with the Milwaukie Environmental Stewards Group at a Foam Collection Site. The site is located at Milwaukie Floral & Garden (3306 SE Lake Rd.). 

Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shifts are in two hour blocks, but can be shorter or longer. 

Duties for volunteers arriving at 8:30 a.m. include setting up the collection site, hanging bags and signs, setting out business cards, and putting out garbage bags. 

Duties between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. include greeting people who are dropping off foam, helping them get their foam in the right bag, educating them about which items are accepted and which aren't, and answering any other questions that visitors have. 

Duties from 4:55 to 5 p.m. including taking everything down, putting away signs, and making sure the area is neat and orderly.
