A child’s most important work is play!  Pick up a bag full of activities to share with young children at home.  Each bag includes play dough, felt tangrams, a sensory bottle, shaker, scarf, & more.  Available beginning September 7 at the children’s desk while supplies last.  Ages 0-5.

PGE Electric Tool Exchange

Wanting to upgrade your gas-powered yard tools? PGE is hosting an electric tool exchange on Sep. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of City Hall at the Milwaukie Farmer’s Market. Community members can bring old gas-powered lawnmowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws and trimmers to be recycled for free and receive a gift card to purchase a new electric tool from Ace Hardware. Please empty all fluids from tools before bringing to the exchange on Sep. 12.

Open Mic and Poetry Reading a virtual event on Zoom. Co-sponsored by the Milwaukie Poetry Series and St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church. This event is postponed one week due to the Labor Day weekend.

Sundays through October (weather permitting) from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Friends of the Ledding Library will be waiting to sell books you'll love next to the amphitheater at the north end of the Ledding Library building.
