Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM the Ledding Library Daylight Book Club will meet via Zoom to discuss Crooked Heart: A Novel, by Lissa Evans.

The Milwaukie Museum, Two Sisters Play Café and Milwaukie Lumber, along with Professional Fools Productions, are proud to present a performance by Cantor the Enchanter on the back lawn of the museum. Cantor the Enchanter is a real bona fide wizard…’s apprentice. His children’s show from Incanto Magic combines carefully curated magic, comedy and inspirational themes to create a one-of-a-kind entertaining, empowering and uplifting experience for all ages. Be prepared for a “bubbly good time.”

Ledding Library Lecture: They Came Over The Barlow Trail, A historic look at some of Milwaukie’s first white settlers as they crossed the Oregon Trail and their contributions to our City. See Henderson Luelling, Mary Campbell Luelling, and Lot Whitcomb tell their stories live and in person! This is in conjunction with events sponsored by Clackamas County Heritage Council commemorating 175 years of the Barlow Trail throughout October. Sponsored by the Milwaukie Museum, City of Milwaukie, Ledding Library, and Willamette Falls Studio Media Center.

Spring Open Mic and Poetry Reading a virtual event on Zoom. The poetry theme for this open mic and reading is humor and the featured readers are the Salem Poetry Project.

The Milwaukie Poetry Series and the Ledding Library are delighted to sponsor a William Stafford Birthday Celebration on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 2-4 PM. It will be a virtual event on Zoom. 

In partnership with the Iraqi Society of Oregon and Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here! the Milwaukie Poetry Committee and the Ledding Library are hosting a bilingual poetry reading in Arabic and English.

Kate Gray's poetry reading will be livestreamed on November 10, 2021 on the Ledding Library YouTube Channel.

Judith Barrington's poetry reading will be livestreamed on October 13, 2021 on the Ledding Library YouTube Channel.
