In 2012, the city of Milwaukie (City) began efforts to update its Stormwater Master Plan. The previous Stormwater Master Plan was developed in 2004.

Water pollution degrades surface waters making them unsafe for drinking, fishing, swimming, and other activities.

Spills and leaks from contaminants, can be dangerous if left unattended. In addition, spilled chemicals can also pollute our streams and underground drinking water supplies, as well as harm pets, plants and wildlife.
