Budgets

The city adopts a budget to guide its decision making and execution of its operating and capital plans. The budget is prepared at the direction of the City Manager to address the goals and objectives of the City Council and fulfill the service level expectations of its citizens and customers.

Capital Improvement Plan

The 6-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) establishes guidance and planning for the City of Milwaukie’s investments in capital infrastructure.

Street Surface Maintenance Program

Program Description

SSMP was adopted by Ordinance No. 1966, effective on July 1, 2007. The ordinance, in concert with other related ordinances, established funding sources, including a street maintenance fee, an electric utility privilege tax, and a local gas tax. All funds were dedicated to street maintenance and rehabilitation, with the goal of bringing all arterials and collectors in the city to a “good” or better condition within ten years.

Stormwater Master Plan (2014)

Right-of-Way Permit Application

If you plan on doing work within the Right-of-Way, you must submit a Right-of-Way Permit Application prior to construction.

A Right-of-Way Permit is also required if you a planning on utilizing an on-street, public parking space for loading, storage, moving, and similar activities that go beyond the allowable posted time limit.
