There are three options for submitting an Appeal of a Land Use Decision application:

Submittal Requirements

A signed Submittal Requirements form is required to be submitted with a Land Use Application.

Planning Request

To submit a Planning Request, complete the form and click Submit to email to planning@milwaukieoregon.gov or bring it in person to the Johnson Creek facility to speak to Planning staff. 

Clear Vision Areas and Fences

Property owners are responsible for maintaining clear vision areas and fences in conformance with City regulations.

Because fence regulations often overlap with clear vision areas, the regulations for both fence and clear vision areas are presented together in this handout.

It is strongly recommended that citizens contact the Planning and/or Engineering Department if they have questions regarding fences or clear vision areas.

Community member Ride-Along Program

The Milwaukie Police Department offers a community member ride-along program that provides an opportunity for residents to observe the law-enforcement function first hand.
