CPA-2019-001

Following over two years of work, the City of Milwaukie is proposing to amend its Comprehensive Plan policy document. The proposed amendments will result in:

A new introduction
Minor amendments to the Comprehensive Plan land use categories, to more closely match the permitted uses and densities in the implementing zoning districts and reflect new urban design concepts
New background information, graphics, maps, goals, and policies for 12 different topic areas that have been grouped into four chapters
A new glossary of terms

The amendments will not result in changes to:

The Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map
The existing Comprehensive Plan transportation goals; they will be carried over as Section 13 in the document, and updated in coordination with future amendments to the Transportation System Plan (TSP)
Any ancillary documents to the Comprehensive Plan, such as the TSP, Town Center Master Plan, Central Milwaukie Land Use and Transportation Plan, utility master plans, and parks master plans
