How to Get a Library Card

ESPAÑOL

New to the area? Are your kids ready for their own library cards? Haven't been to the library in a few years? Here's how to get a card:

Ledding Cultural Forum

The library presents the Ledding Cultural Forum, celebrating culture with public talks by local or regional artists, media producers, musicians, writers and other makers of culture. Each event is free and held at the Ledding Library in the community room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.

The Ledding Library is the cultural heart of Milwaukie, providing stimulating programs at no charge for children and adults. A complete schedule of programs available here.

What Jurisdiction Am I In?

City limit lines can be very confusing. Did you know that the city listed in your address doesn’t necessarily mean that you live inside the city? It primarily specifies what post office delivers to your residence. Clackamas County has a fabulous mapping system that can show exactly which jurisdiction you’re in to pull permits or search for records—and it works throughout the entire county! Check it out by using the link and instructions below.

Search for Records

Looking for a permit or permit information? Search the online permit system, which dates back to 2013 (link and instructions below).

Looking for something before 2013? Complete a public records request form through the link below.

Milwaukie Riverfront Park

Marking another major leap in realizing the long-term goal of reclaiming one of the most beautiful views of the Willamette River and building a park to draw people from around the region to enjoy it, construction of Phase II of Milwaukie Riverfront Park began in June 2014. A Grand Opening Ceremony was held on May 1, 2015.
