Tree Board

The community-led Tree Board is an advocate for trees and a resource for all Milwaukians. Charged with creating and maintaining a plan for the care of trees and shrubs in the city's public places, the board acts as an advisory body to City Council. - Milwaukie Municipal Code 16.32.015(D) -

Redevelopment Commission

The Milwaukie Redevelopment Commission (MRC) is the Urban Renewal Agency for the City of Milwaukie. The MRC was established in 1987 by the City Council through the adoption of Ordinance 1623.  Per Chapter 2.40 of the Milwaukie Municipal Code (MMC) the Council acts as the 5 MRC commissioners.

Alarm Permits

Alarm permits are required for businesses and residences that use an alarm system within city limits. Alarm permits must be obtained and submitted prior to the use of the alarm system.

Application Fee:
Business: $50
Residential: $30
Residential 65+: $10

Permit Term: The alarm permit is valid for one calendar year.

USGS Studies the Impact of Insecticides on Northwestern Clackamas County Streams

The City of Milwaukie contributed to an environmental study that was undertaken by Clackamas County stormwater permit co-permittees who partnered with the USGS. The study investigated pesticides present in urban stormwater, streams and creeks in our respective communities.
