What Jurisdiction Am I In?

City limit lines can be very confusing. Did you know that the city listed in your address doesn’t necessarily mean that you live inside the city? It primarily specifies what post office delivers to your residence. Clackamas County has a fabulous mapping system that can show exactly which jurisdiction you’re in to pull permits or search for records—and it works throughout the entire county! Check it out by using the link and instructions below.

Search for Records

Looking for a permit or permit information? Search the online permit system, which dates back to 2013 (link and instructions below).

Looking for something before 2013? Complete a public records request form through the link below.

Milwaukie Riverfront Park

Marking another major leap in realizing the long-term goal of reclaiming one of the most beautiful views of the Willamette River and building a park to draw people from around the region to enjoy it, construction of Phase II of Milwaukie Riverfront Park began in June 2014. A Grand Opening Ceremony was held on May 1, 2015.

Business Registration Fees

General information:

The business registration is a tax imposed by the City Council. A business registration is required for businesses operating within the city limits for commercial business, home-based business, and rental property owners.

Business registration is paid annually in advance of the registration year and is effective January 1 to December 31. A new business that begins July through December will pay half of the base fee, plus the cost of each employee and owner.
