Code Documents

The new regulations were adopted by City Council on August 2, 2011, and will become effective on September 15, 2011.  The new regulations amend the text of the City’s Zoning Ordinance, which is Title 19 of the Milwaukie Municipal Code, as well as the Environmental and Natural Resources chapter of the Comprehensive Plan. 

The adopted versions of the code amendments are available in PDF format below. Earlier drafts are also available below.

There are two primary documents that comprise the proposal:

1. New Natural Resource regulations, which replace the existing Water Quality Resource rules
2. Minor amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and other related sections of the zoning code

The newly adopted Natural Resource Administrative Map is available on the Project Maps page in several formats (City-wide and a "mapbook" version that allows a closer look at specific properties).
