Author Talk: Zoë Bossiere & KB Brookins

June is Pride Month! Join us for a joyful author talk highlighting LGBTQ+ voices & stories. 

Zoë Bossiere (they/she) is a writer from Tucson, Arizona. They are the managing editor of Brevity: A Journal of Concise Literary Nonfiction, as well as the co-editor of two anthologies. Bossiere's debut, Cactus Country: A Boyhood Memoir, chronicles their experiences growing up as a trans boy in a Tucson, Arizona trailer park. 

KB Brookins is a Black, queer, and trans writer and cultural worker from Texas. They are the author of two poetry collections: Freedom House and How to Identify Yourself with a Wound. Their debut memoir Pretty is their story of growing up in Texas and touches on themes of queerness, masculinity, and race.
