SAFE/Street Commercial Fee

City of Milwaukie Oregon Official Website

The Safe Access For Everyone (SAFE) and Street fees are determined by the way your property is utilized.

Look up the type of business or residence you have from the table below. You will see the monthly charge for that use listed under "Cost Per Unit". You can use this to determine approximately what your Street and SAFE fees will be before you see them on your bill by multiplying the Cost Per Unit by the number of units you have.

Typically commercial units are "1000 sq ft". So if you have a building area of 1,500 square feet, you would multiply 1.5 times the Cost Per Unit.

For more information about the SAFE fee and program, please visit the SAFE Program Webpage.

For more information about the Street fee and program, please visit the Street Surface Maintenance Program Webpage.
