Veterans Resource Team

The Veteran Resource Team/VRT was established in January of 2019 to determine how the Police Department can better serve the growing veteran community in Milwaukie. The team researched and developed the Veteran Resource Guide and teamed up with Milwaukie American Legion Post 180 to establish the Corporal Diffie Veterans Fund, as well as the Veteran Outreach Team/VOT (VOT made up of: VRT & Milwaukie American Legion Veteran Service Officer/VSO and other volunteers).
