Transportation System Plan 2013 Update

The Transportation System Plan (TSP) is the City's long-term plan for making transportation improvements. The TSP addresses multiple modes of travel: Pedestrian, Bicycle, Public Transit, Freight, and Street Network. City Council adopted amendments to the TSP on Tuesday, November 19.

You can make a lasting impression on your community by submitting a name for the new Sunnyside Village Neighborhood Park. North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD), in partnership with the developer of the adjacent community, is building a 2-acre neighborhood park at S.E. 152nd Drive and S.E. Pioneer Drive.

The evening includes a 1-hour Open House (5:30pm to 6:30pm), followed by a Public Meeting (6:30pm to 8:30pm) where participants will discuss proposed updates to the City's Transportation System

Members of the Audit Committee

Resolution 43-2012 adopted in July 2012 established an Audit Committee to ensure that audits are completed annually in accordance with Oregon state law, provide oversight of the independent auditor.

 

Project Background

From 2009 through 2012, a number of assessments of Milwaukie’s commercial areas laid the groundwork for Moving Forward Milwaukie. Following the adoption of significant improvements to the city’s residential and industrial zones, the next step is to evaluate and revise planning and economic development strategies for Milwaukie’s commercial districts.

Fresh Look Milwaukie: Downtown Road Map

A decade after the adoption of the Downtown and Riverfront Framework Plan, it was time to take a fresh look at policies shaping downtown. In the gap between the downtown Milwaukie envisions and the planning tools utilized to get there, a number of critical pieces were missing. Guided by a new road map of the necessary changes, those missing pieces will be filled in to form a stronger downtown plan.
