On February 4, 2025, the City Council approved Resolution 10-2025, adopting Council goals for calandar years 2025 to 2027. The goals are:

GOAL 1: Economic Development - Support Milwaukie's business districts and invest in neighborhood hubs.

GOAL 2: Parks and Greenspace - Deliver Milwaukie Bay Park and expand equitable access to green space, including the future restored Kellogg Creek Natural Area. 

After focusing on the Downtown area, the Moving Forward Milwaukie: Enhancing Our Commercial Districts Project has turned its focus to the Central Milwaukie area. The Central Milwaukie planning efforts will result in a land use and transportation plan for the area. An Open House on Wed., Feb. 4th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Public Safety Building (3200 SE Harrison St.) will provide the public a chance to public to review and comment on the work that’s been done so far.
