Poetry Series' sixth season underway!

The Milwaukie Poetry Series Committee and the Ledding Library of Milwaukie are delighted to announce the Sixth Season of the Milwaukie Poetry Series!

This exciting series of readings by established local poets will take place on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Pond House adjacent to the Milwaukie Ledding Library, 2215 SE Harrison, Milwaukie, OR, 97222.

The Sixth Season will begin with a reading by Ingrid Wendt on Wednesday, September 12th and continue through June, 2013. The other readers for this season are: John Daniel, Ursula Le Guin, Karen Holmberg, Matthew Dickman, Herman Asarnow, Cecelia Hagen, Steve Dieffenbacher, Mark Thalman, and Andrea Hollander Budy.

This is an outstanding line up of local poets sharing their work and we are honored by their participation. We want to thank the City of Milwaukie for its support and all the volunteers that make it a possibility.

The Pond House in Milwaukie is a delightful setting and easy to reach. It is located at SE Harrison St and SE 23rd Ave. in Milwaukie. From SE McLoughlin Blvd. turn at the light onto SE Harrison St and go four blocks east to 2215 SE Harrison St., Milwaukie, OR 97222.
