Extended Hours Cooling Center Activated 7/15 and 7/16
Tuedsay, 7/15, and Wednesday, 7/16, the City of Milwaukie will operate an extended hours cooling center due to the extreme heat.
- On Tuesday, the cooling center will be held in the Ledding Library Community Room (10660 SE 21st Ave) from 7-9 p.m., after library operational hours end at 7 p.m.
- On Wednesday, the cooling center will be held in the City Hall Community Room (10501 SE Main St.) from 5-9 p.m., after city operational hours end at 5 p.m.
All are welcome to come enjoy air conditioning and free water and snacks.
