Dogwood Day

May 21 is known as Dogwood Day in Milwaukie, "The Dogwood City of the West.” It’s the city’s date of incorporation (birthday) and since the 1960s it’s been linked to the time of year when the Dogwoods are in bloom.

Join city staff and volunteers with the Milwaukie Historical Society Sunday, May 21 from 9:30 am to 2 p.m. during the Milwaukie Farmers Market. There will be a booth in front of city hall with a live Dogwood, coloring pages, stickers, sunglasses, and other Dogwood items.
