Back-to-school week means back to scavenger hunts! Find 10 hidden pictures for a prize, anytime the library is open. All ages.

LEGO Club

Come to the library to build with LEGO. Expert Molly will provide a creative challenge, along with tips & tricks. Ages 5 & up.  

No registration required, but capacity is limited to the first 50 attendees. Library Community Room.  

Lewelling Concert in the Park

Join the Lewelling Neighborhood District Association (NDA) at their final concert in the park at Ball-Michel Park. This concert was rescheduled from August 16, 2023 due to high temperatures. Please take note that the concert will start at 6 p.m.

Calling All Play Experts!

The City of Milwaukie is seeking play experts to share their insights about the final designs for Scott, Balfour, and Bowman-Brae Parks. Stick around to enjoy doughnuts, storytime, live music, a special art project, photo booth, games, and more!

Milwaukie Museum Performance: Michael O'Neill

The Milwaukie Museum, in partnership with Two Sisters Play Café, Milwaukie Lumber and Professional Fools Productions, presents two performances of Michael O'Neill on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the back lawn. The museum is open before, during and after the performances to help create a fun-filled day. 

Library Reduced Hours 1:30 - 7 PM

The Library will be open from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. so that staff may attend an all-city picnic.

Storytime will still take place in the park at 10:30am.

Teen Lock-In

Teens take over the library! Join us after-hours for games, snacks, music & more. Open to grades 6-12.

Check-in between 7:30-8pm. Pick-up between 9:45-10pm.

Red Yarn

Folk songs & puppetry for families. All ages.

Enjoy performers and fun activities for kids in the amphitheater outside the library every Thursday morning, weather permitting. Each program followed by a free sack lunch from 11am-12pm. Lunches provided by the N. Clackamas Schools Meals Program for ages 1-18.

En Taiko

High-energy Japanese drumming. All ages. Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating.

Enjoy performers and fun activities for kids outside the library every Thursday morning, weather permitting. Each program followed by a free sack lunch from 11am-12pm. Lunches provided by the N. Clackamas Schools Meals Program for ages 1-18.
