City Council Elections
November 5, 2024, General Election. The November election ballot in Milwaukie will feature Council positions 1 and 3. The individuals elected to these positions in November will serve a four-year term beginning January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2028.

May 5, 2024 | Last day to establish residency in city limits. |
July 29 | First day to file nomination papers and petitions. |
August 12 | Suggested deadline to submit signatures for verification to the city elections officer. |
August 27 | Last day to file nomination papers and petitions. |
August 30 | Last day for candidates to withdraw. |
September 9 | Last day for candidates to file voter pamphlet statement. |
October 15 | Last day to register to vote. |
October 16 | Ballots are mailed out. |
November 5 | Election Day. |
January 7, 2025 | The Oath of Office administered to elected candidates. |

There are three ballot drop boxes in Milwaukie. All drop boxes are outside and are open 24-hours-a-day during the weeks leading up to an election.
