Library Opening Late - December 11

The library will open at 2pm on Monday, December 11 due to a Citywide meeting.

Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood - Holiday Potluck

The Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood District Association (NDA) will hold a Holiday Potluck in lieu of their December 2023 meeting. Neighbors are encouraged to come create some fond memories and bring something to share.

Milwaukie Poetry Series: Black History Month Celebration

This month the Milwaukie Poetry Series is celebrating Black History Month. Our Featured Reader will be Emmett Wheatfall. He will read his own work or favorite poems for approximately 20 Min. There may be other special guests. Then there will be an Open Mic. We would ask that you read works of black poets.

Spring Poetry Reading & Open Mic

The Milwaukie Poetry Series and the Ledding Library are celebrating National Poetry Month by sponsoring a Spring Reading and Open Mic on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Our Featured Readers will read for approximately 40 minutes. This will be followed by an Open Mic.

Bilingual Poetry Reading - Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here!

In partnership with the Iraqi Society of Oregon and Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here! the Milwaukie Poetry Committee and the Ledding Library are hosting a bilingual poetry reading in Arabic and English.

Teen Game Day

Get your game on! We will open the Teen Room Xbox X and PS5 consoles to teen gamers to play games already downloaded to the consoles and any games available for checkout. Personal games are not allowed.

This event is limited to teens, grades 6 – 12, with a LINCC library card.

Teen Movie Night: Elf

Join us in the Community Room to watch Elf (PG). Cookies, cocoa and snacks provided by the library. Bring a cushion or blanket to get cozy. Open to grades 6-12.

Saturday Play Time

Drop in and enjoy extra toys in our play area. All ages.
