The Planning process continues in the North Milwaukie Industrial Area (NMIA)! After working with the community to develop the vision, goals and potential concepts for the NMIA, we are seeking your feedback. Attend this interactive open house to get project updates and provide comments on the vision and future of the district.

Together we will develop a framework plan and implementation strategy that will support existing businesses and attract new development in the NMIA.

Getting a loan involves more than just applying. Preparing for a loan can be just as important as getting the money. We know the preparation process can be long, and possibly filled with apprehension, confusion, and fear.

Common concerns include:

Located between Kellogg Lake and SE McLoughlin Boulevard, the Kronberg Park, and its accompanying multi-use path, will connect the Kellogg Creek Bike-Pedestrian Bridge and downtown Milwaukie area with the nearby sidewalk, crosswalk, and Trolley Trail at the south end of the park. It will also improve access to the Main Street light rail station.

Once completed, the park will restore and preserve existing habitat, install interpretive signs, create overlooks and bird blinds, and incorporate benches, picnic tables and a nature play area.

The community is invited to attend Town Hall #2 to take the next step in developing the vision for Milwaukie in 2040. Doors open at 6 p.m. for an open house, followed by the Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will break out into small groups to develop and discuss items for the vision’s Action Plan, which will serve as the city’s method for achieving and measuring progress. Childcare and refreshments will be provided!
